Cases Disposed by the Supreme Court of Nigeria

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has recorded 22% increase of cases disposed in 2017/2018 legal year as against 2016/2017.

How many cases are lingering in the docket of the court? What is the percentage of cases disposed compared to pending cases in the court?

These are questions that only an open judiciary system will address. Trial justices need to be appraised by number of cases assigned and disposed in a legal year to ensure judicial accountability.
