Hacking Social Justice Issues

The Civic Hacks is an innovative and collaborative hackathon program that brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds, including programmers, designers, data analysts, and activists, to address pressing social and civic challenges in their communities using technology and creative problem-solving.
At the hackathon, participants work in teams to build digital solutions aimed at improving various aspects of public life. The program fosters civic engagement, promotes transparency, and enhances government accountability by harnessing the power of technology to tackle social justice issues.
The hackathon-winning teams with the most promising ideas receive financial support, mentorship and training to help them scale their ideas.
