Strengthening Financial Systems Against Corruption

The program offers training on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) to microfinance banks and designated non-financial institutions to better identify and prevent suspicious transactions and money laundering activities within their operations. It equips them with the knowledge and skills to recognize red flags, report suspicious activities, and adhere to compliance standards.

Through partnerships with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the program safeguards the financial system and empowers microfinance banks and designated non-financial institutions to fulfil their mission of providing financial services to the most vulnerable segments of society while operating within a secure and compliant framework.
